Photo Fun Friday: Celebrity Edition

An unexpected perk from my travels has been running into various celebrities here and there – and I’m never shy to whip out my camera for a photo opportunity! Below are just some of my favorites, including:

John Larroquette, after performing in NYC with Daniel Radcliffe in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.” (He won a Tony for this performance and was FANTASTIC):

On my way to dinner in New York last year, I stumbled upon the paparazzi area for the opening night of the play “The Mountaintop” and watched an interview with guest attendee Debbie Allen:

After seeing the Broadway musical “Ghost,” we walked over to a theater across the street to see why a huge crowd had gathered. It was just Ferris Bueller himself (Matthew Broderick) after his performance in “Nice Work if You Can Get It”:

The best I could get from Mr. Broderick. Maybe he’s shy!

Just hanging out with Mare Winningham after she participated in a table reading of “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” at a conference I attended last month in San Francisco:

Wanted to tell her how much I’ve loved her many movie and TV roles. But mostly I just stood there and smiled.

Meeting Scott Hamilton after he spoke at a “cancer survivorship panel” I was coveringĀ in Miami:

And finally, with the super nice and courteous Sam Donaldson at the same event. I became an even bigger fan of the news veteran after meeting him:

Although the photographer tried to cut his head off, this really is Mr. Donaldson!

Anyone else have some fun celeb-sighting stories to share??
